Občanský zákoník, který kodifikoval římské právo na podnět byzantského císaře Justiniána I. v 6. století., skládal se ze čtyř částí - Institutiones, Digesta (řecky Pandektai), Codex a Novellae (Narai). Pro samostatně publikované části použij samostatné UN částí.
