V mé diplomové práci se zabývám povinnostmi a pravomocemi nizozemského krále a českého presidenta a jejich obrazem a postavením ve společnosti, ať již doma, či v zahraničí. V první kapitole stručně popisuji historický vývoj Nizozemska a České republiky. Důvodem je to, že historie obou zemí ovlivnila jak jejich přítomnost, tak jistě měla i vliv na formování států a jejich hlavní představitele. V rámci této kapitoly jsem popsala i několik českých šlechtických rodů, protože mohou být vnímány jako spojovací článek mezi monarchií a demokratickým systémem. V dalších dvou kapitolách se věnuji nizozemskému králi a českému prezidentovi, především jejich povinnostem a pravomocem. V rámci zmíněných úřadů popisuji i jejich zvláštnosti, jako např. inauguraci či abdikaci. Ohledně českého prezidenta popisuji ve své práci i přímé prezidentské volby, které jsou v České republice poměrně nové a navíc byly především v roce 2018 opět velmi aktuálním tématem. V poslední kapitole vyzdvihuji mediální obraz nizozemského krále a českého prezidenta, a to na vybraných příkladech z jejich politického života.In my thesis I deal with the duties and power of the Czech president and the Dutch king and their image and position in the society, whether at home or abroad. In the first chapter I briefly describe the historical formation of the Netherlands and the Czech Republic because our history has influenced our presence and certainly had an influence on the formation of states and their main representatives. In this chapter I have also described several Czech noble families. In the next two chapters I deal with the Dutch king and the Czech president, especially with their duties and authority. I also describe some special occasion, such as inauguration or abdication In my thesis I describe Czech presidential elections, which are relatively new in the Czech Republic and have been a very topical issue in 2018. In the last chapter I highlight the media image of the Dutch king and Czech president on chosen examples of their political lives.
