Úvodní část práce vysvětluje termín počítačová neboli digitální hra, její historický vývoj a klasifikaci. Dále čtenáře seznamuje s termínem Game Based Learning, tedy metodou vzdělávání pomocí počítačových her. Hlavní částí práce je katalog her s historickou tématikou, které jsou klasifikovány dle historických období. U vybraných her bude navržena možnost jejich konkrétního využití ve výuce. Poslední část práce ověřuje možnosti zařazení her do výuky a zájem žáků o tento typ vzdělávání.. -- Abstrakt: The diploma thesis entitled "The Possibility of Using Computer Games in History Teaching" is primarily focused on computer games with historical themes and the possibilities of their use in teaching history. The introductory part explains the term computer or digital game, its historical development and classification. Another part of the work introduces the reader with the term Game Based Learning, the method of computer game education. The main part of the thesis is a catalog of games with historical themes, which are classified according to historical periods. Selected games will be offered the possibility of their use in teaching. The last part of the thesis verifies the possibilities of classifying games in teaching and the pupil's interest in this type of education.
