Cílem výzkumu bylo popsat formální i obsahové charakteristiky denního snění a zjistit, zda existuje nějaká souvislost mezi interpersonálními vlastnostmi a tématy denních snů jedince. Metodou sběru dat byl rozhovor a Dotazník interpersonální diagnózy ICL. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 39 participantů, z toho 26 ve věku 35 až 55 let a 13 nad 65 let. Rozhovory jsem vyhodnocovala pomocí utváření trsů a metody OSOP, mezi škálami dotazníku ICL a typy denních snů jsem provedla biserální korelaci. Ukázalo se, že se denní snění v průběhu života vyvíjí a že mezi denními sny lidí existuje řada podobností. Na základě výpovědí jsem identifikovala deset základních tematických kategorií denních snů. Nejvíc frekventované v obou věkových skupinách byly denní sny týkající se vztahů. V mladší věkové skupině se dále jednalo o denní sny zabývající se sebepojetím a konflikty, ve starší katastrofickými scénáři, vlastní budoucností a aktivitami. Ukázalo se také několik souvislostí mezi tématy denních snů jedince a jeho interpersonálními vlastnostmi.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis is concerned with daydreaming in adults and seniors, and its relationship with interpersonal characteristics. The goal of the research was to describe formal and content-based characteristics of daydreaming, and to find out whether there exists a relationship between interpersonal characteristics and the themes of individual's daydreams. The Questionnaire of interpersonal diagnosis ICL was used as the method of collection of data. 39 participants took part in the research, out of which 26 were aged between 35 and 55, and 13 were over 65 years old. The interviews were evaluated using a clustering method, as well as the OSOP method, and a biserial correlation between the ICL questionnaire scales and types of daydreams was carried out. It became apparent that daydreaming evolves over lifetime, and that there is a large number of similarities between different people's daydreams. Based on the responses, 10 basic topic-based categories of daydreams were identified. Daydreams concerning relationships were the most frequent in both age groups. In the younger age group there were further daydreams concerned with the conception of self and conflicts, in the older age group it was catastrophic scenarios and one's own future. There was also a number of connections between the themes of daydreams of an individual and their interpersonal characteristics.
