Obsahuje i kapitolu, ve které jsou přiblíženy úskalí pomáhajících profesí a syndrom vyhoření. Empirická část se zaměřuje na výzkum realizovaný v domově pro seniory ve Velké Bystřici. Celkem bylo v tomto domově uskutečněno 12 rozhovorů, týkající se adaptace klientů na pobyt v domově, součástí rozhovorů je i pohled pracovníků sociálních službách na výkon práce právě v tomto domově.. -- Abstrakt: Bachelor's thesis in the theoretical part closer to the dates of the adaptation of the senior and age. Includes a chapter in which they are přiblíženy pitfalls of helping professions and burnout. The empirical part focuses on the research realized in the home for the elderly in a Large Bystřice. The total was in this home made 12 interviews, related to the adaptation of the clients to stay in the home, part of the interviews is also the view of the workers of the social services in the performance of the work in this home.
