Práce se soustředí na vymezení různých typů prostoru i času objevujících se v románu, zkoumá jejich specifické aspekty a funkce. Zvláštní důraz je kladen především na interpretaci role prostoru a času ve vztahu k hlavní postavě Giovanni Drogovi.. -- Abstrakt: The aim of this thesis is to analyze the organisation of space and time in the novel The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati. The thesis focuses on defining different types of the space and the time appearing in the novel and examines their specific aspects and functions. The attention is paid to the interpretation of the role of the space and the time in relation to the main character Giovanni Drogo.
