Práce se zabývá otázkami manželství a rodiny v islámu. Je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole jsou podány informace o vzniku islámu, o základech muslimské víry a o povinnostech muslimů. Je zde ukázáno, jak se k těmto otázkám stavěl zakladatel islámu a jak vypadala jeho vlastní rodina. Druhá kapitola se týká samotného uzavírání manželství, pohledu na muže a ženu, mnohoženství a rozvodů. Obsah třetí kapitoly tvoří informace ohledně postavení dětí v rodině. Kapitola začíná plánováním rodičovství, pokračuje péčí o děti, jejich výchovou, jejich právy a povinnostmi, dále školstvím a je také nastíněna otázka dědického práva.The thesis discusses the questions of matrimony and family in Islam. It is divided into 3 chapters. In the first chapter, the paper presents information concerning the origin of Islam, the principles of Muslim faith and the duties of Muslims. This part of the paper demonstrates the attitude of the founder of Islam to these questions and introduces nature of his own family. The second chapter deals with contracting of marriage, perspectives of a man and a woman, polygamy and divorce. The last chapter offers information regarding the role of children in a family. The chapter opens with family planning and continues with the discussion of child care and upbringing mentioning the rights and duties of children. It also deals with education and closes with an outline of inheritance law.
