Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá sociálními službami, které jsou poskytovány seniorům v kraji Vysočina. Teoretickou část práce tvoří údaje o demografickém vývoji v České republice a v kraji Vysočina. Dále jsou zde uvedeny informace o problematice stáří a stárnutí, o pozici starých lidí v současné společnosti, o sociálních službách a v neposlední řadě jsou zde popsány nástroje určené k rozvoji sítě sociálních služeb. Těžiště práce spočívá ve zmapování celkové situace vybavenosti kraje Vysočina sociálními službami a ostatními formami péče o seniory. Zjištěné údaje jsou srovnávány s doporučenými normativy vybavenosti službami pro staré občany (v relaci na 1 000 osob starších 65 let) a s celorepublikovými údaji vztahujícími se k vybavenosti službami (opět relace na 1 000 osob starších 65 let). S uvedenými ukazateli je porovnána také vybavenost službami pro staré občany jednotlivých okresů kraje Vysočina. Získané poznatky slouží jako jeden z podkladů koncepce rozvoje sociálních služeb, která je v našem kraji zpracovávána formou komunitního plánování.The Bachelor Thesis deals with social services offered to old people in the Vysočina Region. Theoretical part of the Thesis consists of the data of the demographic development in the Czech Republic and the Vysočina Region. There is also information on issues related to old age and aging, on the position of old poeople within the contemporary society, on social services and, last but not the least, there you will find the description of the tools destined for the development of the social services network. The focus of the Thesis lies in the mapping of the overall situation of the availability of the social services and the other care forms of old people in the Vysočina Region. The data found are compared with the recommended normatives of the availability of services for old people (in proportion to 1 000 people over 65 years old) and with the national data related to the availability of services (again in proportion to 1 000 people over 65 years old). The data indicated are also compared to the availability of services for old people within the particular districts of the Vysočina Region. The findings obtained serve as part of the base for the Conception of the Social Services Development which is being developed in the form of community planning.
