U listů L. serriola L. pocházejících z populací dvou evropských zemí (Slovinsko, Švédsko) byly studovány tyto morfologické znaky: délka a šířka rozetového a lodyžního listu, index tvaru listu délka/šířka (L/W), délka a šířka apexu rozetového a lodyžního listu, index tvaru apexu délka/šířka (Lt/Wt). Z výsledků získaných v této práci vyplývá, že listové formy L. serriola (L. serriola f. serriola, L. serriola f. integrifolia) ze Slovinska a Švédska se signifikantně liší. Zjištěná morfologická variabilita listů L. serriola koreluje s geografickým rozšířením obou forem. Lactuca serriola f. serriola byla zastoupena v obou sledovaných zemích v 93,7% a frekvence výskytu Lactuca serriola f. integrifolia byla pouze 2%. Obecně je možné konstatovat, že více variabilní ve své morfologii byly listy slovinských rostlin sesbíraných téměř v centru diverzity rodu Lactuca.Leaves of L. serriola L. plants originated in populations of two European countries (Slovenia, Sweden) were studied for following morphological descriptors: length and width of rosette and cauline leaf, index of leaf length/width (L/W), length and width of apex rosette and cauline leaf, index of apex length/width (Lt/Wt). Results obtained in this study proved that leaf forms of Lactuca serriola (L. serriola f. serriola, L. serriola f. integrifolia) from Slovenia and Sweden are significantly different. Morphological variability of leaves from tested group of plants correlate with geographical distribution of both forms. L. serriola f. serriola occurred in 93,7% of both countries, while frequency of occurence of L. serriola f. integrifolia was 2% only. Generally it is possible to conclude that leaves from Slovene plants, which were collected almost in center of diversity of the genus Lactuca L. , were more variable in morphology.
