Bakalářská práce se zabývá syndromem karpálního tunelu z pohledu rehabilitace. Jejím cílem je představit samotné onemocnění a jednotlivé možnosti terapie. Záměrem je sdělení informací ohledně konzervativní a chirurgické terapie při intervenci lékařů a zdravotníků při léčbě. V části teoretické se zabývá problematikou onemocnění komplexně. Její součástí je historie, anatomie ruky a zápěstí, rizikové faktory, patofyziologie, vyšetření fyzioterapeutem, možnosti testování, dále pojednává o syndromu karpálního tunelu u dětí a diabetiků. V části terapeutické se práce zaměřuje jak na léčbu konzervativní, tak na chirurgický postup při řešení onemocnění. Mezi konzervativní léčbu řadí mobilizační techniky, dlahování, autoterapii, kineziotaping, akupunkturu, dále pojednává o fyzikální terapii. Zmíněná je také chirurgická terapie jakožto poslední možnost při neúspěšné terapii neinvazivní.The bachelor thesis deals with carpal tunnel syndrome from the perspective of rehabilitation. Its aim is to present the disease itself and the different possibilities of therapy. The intention is to communicate information regarding conservative and surgical therapies in the intervention of physicians and health professionals in the treatment. The theoretical part deals with the issue of the disease comprehensively. It includes history, anatomy of the hand and wrist, risk factors, pathophysiology, examination by a physiotherapist, testing options, and further discusses carpal tunnel syndrome in children and diabetics. The therapeutic part of the work focuses on both conservative treatment and surgical management of the disease. The conservative treatment includes mobilization techniques, splinting, autotherapy, kinesiotaping, acupuncture, and physical therapy. Surgical therapy is also mentioned as a last resort when non-invasive therapy fails.
