Tato bakalářská práce si kladla za cíl provést neoformalistickou analýzu filmu Poslední souboj (2021). Hlavním účelem bylo ve filmu identifikovat ozvláštnění a jeho dominantu, a to především v rovině výstavby narativu a zobrazovaných témat. Metodologicky práce vycházela z neoformalistického přístupu k analýze filmu, popsaného v knize Breaking the Glass Armor od Kristin Thompsonové. Dále práce využila terminologii a typologii Davida Bordwella z knihy Naration in the Fiction Film a Charlese Ramiréze Berga z textu "A Taxonomy of Alternative Plots in Recent Films: Classifiying the Tarantino Effect". Ozvláštnění ve filmu vychází z vymezení se konvencím a dobovým trendům populární kinematografie a filmů reflektujících hnutí #MeToo. Analýza určila dominantu v tematické rovině hlasu ženy a relativitu mužských výpovědí v případech sexuálního násilí, která motivuje veškeré narativní i stylistické postupy filmu. V závěru také práce vybízí k dalším možným oblastem zkoumání Posledního souboje, a to z hlediska feministické a genderové teorie nebo žánrové analýzy.This bachelor thesis aimed to conduct a neoformalist analysis of the film The Last Duel (2021). The main purpose was to identify the film's defamiliarization and its dominant element, especially in terms of narrative construction and the themes depicted. Methodologically, the thesis was based on the neoformalist approach to film analysis described in Kristin Thompson's Breaking the Glass Armor. Furthermore, the thesis made use of the terminology and typology of David Bordwell's Narrative in the Fiction Film and Charles Ramírez Berg's "A Taxonomy of Alternative Plots in Recent Films: Classifying the Tarantino Effect". The defamiliarization in the film comes from its defiance of the conventions and contemporary trends of popular cinema and films reflecting the #MeToo movement. The analysis identified the dominant element in the theme of the female voice and the relativity of male interpretation of truth in cases of sexual violence that motivates all narrative and stylistic practices in the film. The thesis also concludes by inviting other possible areas of analysis of The Last Duel, in terms of feminism and gender theory or genre analysis.
