Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku mezigeneračních vztahů z pohledu seniorů. Teoretická část charakterizuje stáří a jeho projevy v osobnosti. Následně shrnuje sociální vztahy v období sénia, proměny rodiny v historickém kontextu a mezigenerační soužití. Popisuje důvody odchodu do institucionální péče a sumarizuje druhy sociální péče pro seniory. Empirická část prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu zjišťuje a analyzuje proměny mezigenerační vztahy z pohledu seniora v domácím a institucionálním prostředí,The thesis is focused on intergenerational relationships from the point of view of the elderly. The first, theoretical part characterizes senescence and its effects on personality. This is followed by summarization of personal relationships in the senium period, historical changes in the concept of family, and intergeneratiíonal cohabitation. The thesis also describes reasons for admission into elder care facilities and details all types of senior social services. The empiric part of the thesis establishes and analyses changes in intergenerational relationships from the senior citizen's point of view in households and elder care facilities using qualitative research.
