Cílem bakalářské práce je interpretace děl žánrového malíře a portrétisty Alexandera Pocka (1871-1950) z hlediska toho, jakým způsobem zobrazuje jezdecké uniformy Rakousko-Uherské monarchie mezi lety 1867-1915. Jednotlivé kapitoly budou pojednávat o uniformách z hlediska umělecko-řemeslného provedení, historického vývoje, kulturně-historického a materiálového původu, zpracování či významu dekorací. Opomenuty nebudou ani předpisy a způsoby nošení uniforem či otázky sociálního statutu. Tyto poznatky budou konfrontovány s Pockovými obrazy, v nichž bude sledována míra realističnosti a pojetí zobrazovaných témat.The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to interpret the works of the genre painter and portraitist Alexander Pock (1871-1950) in terms of how he depicts the equestrian uniforms of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy between 1867-1915. The individual chapters will deal with uniforms in terms of artistic and craft design, historical development, cultural-historical and material origin, processing or significance of decorations. Regulations and methods of wearing uniforms or issues of social status will not be left out either. These findings will be confronted with Pock's paintings, in which the degree of realism and conception of the depicted themes will be monitored.
