Cílem bakalářské práce Komparace románu Robinsonka (1940) Marie Majerové s jeho stejnojmennými filmovými adaptacemi režisérů Jaromíra Pleskota a Karla Kachyni bylo zjistit, do jaké míry se filmoví tvůrci drželi literární předlohy a kdy musela být použita jejich invence, aby k přenosu prvků do cílového média mohlo dojít. Metodologickým základem byla monografie Briana McFarlana Novel to Film: An Introduction to the Theory of Adaptation a její dělení elementů na transfer a vlastní adaptaci - tedy na přenositelné a těžce přenositelné prvky z předlohy do adaptace. V rámci transferu byly pomocí distribučních a integračních narativních funkcí rozebrány události a postavy. Vlastní adaptace se zaměřila na odlišné uchopení vypravěče a analýzu kinematografických i extra-kinematografických kulturních kódů. Stanovení kategorií filmových prvků (mizanscéna, kamera, střih a zvuk) bylo založeno na publikaci Davida Bordwella a Kristin Thompsonové Umění filmu: Úvod do studia formy a stylu.The purpose of the bachelor's thesis The comparison of the novel Robinsonka (1940) by Marie Majerová with its same name film adaptations by directors Jaromír Pleskot and Karel Kachyňa was to find out to what extent filmmakers adhered to literary models and when their invention had to be used to transfer elements to the target medium. The methodological basis was Brian McFarlan's monograph Novel to Film: An Introduction to the Theory of Adaptation and its dividing of elements into transfer and adaptation proper - that means, into transferable and difficult-to-transfer elements from the original source to the adaptation. As part of the transfer, events and characters were analyzed using distributional and integrational narrative functions. The adaptation proper focused on a different use of the narrator and the analysis of cinematic and extra-cinematic cultural codes. The categories of film elements (mise-en-scene, camera, editing and sound) were based on a publication by David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson Film Art: An Introduction.
