Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat okruh sociálních kontaktů lidí s roztroušenou sklerózou. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí a to teoretické a empirické. V první teoretické části definuji onemocnění roztroušená skleróza, ukotvuji čtenáře v problematice socializace, sociální opory, rodiny a attachmentu. Dále se zde zabývám sociálními aspekty a sociální prací s lidmi s pokročilou formou roztroušené sklerózy. Pro účely této práce byla zvolena kvantitativní výzkumná strategie. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 250 respondentů různých věkových kategorií.The aim of this work was to analyze the range of social contacts of people with multiple sclerosis. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first theoretical part is defined the disease multiple sclerosis, introduces the reader to the socialization issue, social supports, family and attachments. I also deal with social aspects and social work with people with an advanced form of multiple sclerosis. A quantitative research strategy was chosen for the purposes of this work. 250 respondents of different age categories took part in the research.
