Důraz je kladen převážně na operační léčbu a následnou terapii, ale popsán bude i konzervativní způsob léčby, aby bylo možné zhodnotit výhody a nevýhody obou léčebných metod. Také budou porovnány nejčastější operační postupy a jejich vliv na stav pacienta. Teoretická část práce se věnuje anatomii, biomechanice a samotné ruptuře Achillovy šlachy společně s jejími klinickými příznaky a diagnostikou. Diskutovány jsou i operace po ruptuře Achillovy šlachy a fyzioterapie. Ve speciální části práce je zpracována kazuistika pacienta po operaci ruptury Achillovy šlachy včetně vyšetření a krátkodobého i dlouhodobého rehabilitačního plánu.. -- Abstrakt: The objective of the thesis is to find and process knowledge regarding the problems of Achilles tendon rupture. Although an emphasis is placed primarily on surgical treatment and the follow-up therapy, a conservative treatment method is described with the aim of assessing the advantages and disadvantages of both treatment methods. Furthermore, a comparison is made of the most often applied surgical procedures and the effect these procedures have on the patient's condition. The theoretical part of the thesis delves into anatomy, biomechanics and Achilles tendon rupture per se, in addition to its clinical symptoms and diagnostics. The thesis discusses surgeries after Achilles tendon rupture and physiotherapy. The special part of the thesis scrutinizes a case study of a patient who have undergone a surgery of Achilles tendon rupture, including examination and short- and long-term rehabilitation plans.
