Bakalářskou práci jsem rozdělila do tří hlavních částí. V první části nastíním sociokulturní prostředí USA v 60. letech. V druhé části zmapuji život a hudební tvorbu Janis Joplin a skupin, ve kterých působila. A v poslední, třetí, části mé bakalářské práce zmíním hudební současníky Janis Joplin, kteří spolu s ní a s dalšími umělci tvoří tzv. 27 Club.. -- Abstrakt: In this bachelor's thesis I will mainly deal with the singer Janis Joplin. The bachelor´s thesis is devided into three main parts. In the first part, I outline the socio - cultural environment of the USA in the 1960s. In the second part, I map the life and music of Janis Joplin and the bands in which she worked. In the end of my bachelor's thesis I will mention musical artists, who performed in the same time like Janis Joplin and they formed 27 Club.
