(99 835 znaků) : grafy, schémata. -- Oponent Jakub Doležel. -- Ved. práce Michal Umlauf. -- Abstrakt: Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zda studenti oborů sociální práce vnímají své znalosti a dovednosti získané během studia jako relevantní pro vykonávání práce s umírajícími. V teoretické části jsou představeny jednotlivé oblasti související s tématem smrti a umírání zahrnující teoretické pojmy a komunikační dovednosti. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny také sociální či jiné služby, které se starají o umírající a pozůstalé. V práci jsou zmíněny etické aspekty související s tématem smrti a s tím spojená legislativa. K získání informací o relevanci znalostí z oblasti smrti a umírání, byl použit kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníky byly distribuovány studentům třetích ročníků vybraných bakalářských oborů sociální práce. Práci zakončuje přehled podstatných výsledků výzkumu, které svým obsahem odpovídají na výzkumné otázky práce.. -- Abstrakt: The aim of this thesis was to find out whether students of social work fields perceive their knowledge and skills acquired during their studies as relevant for performing work with the dying people. The theoretical part introduces individual areas related to the topic of death and dying including theoretical concepts and communication skills. The theoretical part mentions social or other facilities that care for the dying and the bereaved. Ethical aspect related to the topic of death and related legislation are mentioned in this thesis. To obtain information of the relevance of knowledge in the area of death and dying, quantitative research was used in the form of a questionnaire survey. The questionnaires were distributed to students in third year of study of selected bachelor's degree programs in social work. The thesis concludes with an overview of substantial research results, which respond in their content to the research questions of the work.
