Cílem této práce je provést kategorizaci terminologie tradiční čínské medicíny do hierarchické struktury na základě sémantických vztahů. Práce uvádí termíny spadající do čtyř oblastí čínské medicíny, včetně filozofických základů, diagnostiky, chorob a léčby. Kategorizace byla provedena na základě porovnání publikací zahrnující jazykové příručky i odbornou literaturu. Termíny byly zaznamenány do programu Microsoft Excel. Kategorie byly vytvořeny na základě již existujících struktur, u kterých bylo navrhnuto další možné řešení kategorizace. Kategorie byly dále rozděleny do dalších podkategorií. Jsou zde uvedeny i hyponymní termíny, které spadají do nejnižších kategorií a celkově je zde zpracováno 4569 termínů. Práce se navíc věnuje teorii terminografické práce a popisuje lexikální databázi WordNet, jejíž hlavní princip organizace taktéž spočívá v hierarchické struktuře a sémantických vztazích.The thesis is based on research of the terminology of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. It categorises the terms into categories and subcategories based on the relation of subordination. The aim was to compare various publications and build a categorised semantic database of the terminology of Chinese medicine. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the terminography as a linguistic discipline and explains the terms connected to the terminographical work. Further it describes the lexicographical database WordNet which categorises English vocabulary including nouns, verbs and adjectives based on their hierarchical semantic relation. The second part contains four main chapters divided according to the categorised fields of terminology of Chinese medicine. It explains the way of categorisation, presents the categories and proposes other possible solutions of categorisation.
