L'obiettivo di questa tesi e? presentare la traduzione del racconto Matu-Maloa dall'italiano allo slovacco. La parte iniziale e? dedicata alla teoria di traduzione, dove vi sono spiegate anche gli obiettivi di traduzione. Questa parte si occupa sia della traduzione del testo prosaico che la traduzione di poesia. Successivamente viene brevemente presentata la vita dell'autore e la sua opera. L'attenzione si focalizza sui libri di Benni dall'ambito di bar, perché il racconto tradotto per fini di questa tesi si trova in una di essi. Il paragrafo seguente riguarda la traduzione stessa, dopodiché vengono commentate le nostre scelte: le espressioni usate nella traduzione e varie difficolta? che abbiamo affrontato nel processo di traduzione.The aim of this thesis is to present the translation of the short story Matu-Maloa from Italian to Slovak. The initial part is devoted to translation theory, where the translation objectives are also explained. This part deals with both the translation of the prosaic text and the translation of poetry. Subsequently the life of the author and his work is briefly presented. The focus is on Benni's books from the ambient of bars, because the story translated for the purposes of this thesis is to found in one of them. The following paragraph concerns the translation itself, after which we comment our choices: the expressions used in the translation and various difficulties that we faced in the translation process.
