Diplomová práce mapuje názory a postoje českých seniorů k eutanazii. Výzkumným cílem bylo zjištění postojů k eutanazii a proměnných, které s nimi statisticky významně souvisí. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy, představuje výchozí teorie a již realizované výzkumy v této oblasti. Výzkumná část popisuje charakteristiky zrealizovaného výzkumu na populaci českých svéprávných seniorů nad 65 let. Dotazníkové šetření obsahuje vlastní nestandardizovaný dotazník s DAP-R škálou, které vyplnilo 154 seniorů vybraných záměrným a snowball výběrem. Data byla analyzovaná Pearsonovým chí-kvadrátem, Mann-Whitneyovým a Kruskal-Wallisovým testem. Na základně výsledků bylo přijato 6 alternativních a ponecháno 5 nulové hypotézy. Byla prokázána statisticky významná souvislost mezi názorem na legalizaci eutanazie v ČR a náboženskou příslušností, mezi postojem k eutanazii a: náboženskou příslušností; názorem na její legalizaci v ČR; vnímaným zdravotním stavem; přijímajícím postojem ke smrti dle DAP-R škály.This diploma thesis reviews the opinions and attitudes of Czech seniors towards euthanasia. The aim of the research was to examine the attitudes and all the variables significantly associated to them in the field of static. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of basic terms, represents the initial theories and researches that have been already realized. The research part describes the characteristics of the research that was conducted on a population of Czech sui juris seniors over 65 years. The questionnaire survey comprises its own non-standardized questionnaire with DAP-R scale, which was completed by 154 seniors selected by an intentional and snow ball selection. The data were analyzed by the Pearson's chi-square, Mann-Whitney's and Kruskal-Wallis's test. 6 alternative and 5 null hypotheses were taken on the basis of the results. That showed statistically significant correlation between the opinion on the legalization of euthanasia in the CZ & religious affiliation, between the attitudes towards euthanasia and: religious affiliation; the opinion of its legalization in the CZ; perceived health status; approach acceptance according to DAP-R scale.
