Bakalářská práce nabízí stručný pohled na problematiku obezity a popisuje její negativní dopad na zdraví jedince. Cílem této práce je informovat o zdravotních důsledcích tohoto onemocnění a nastínit možná úskalí v rehabilitaci, se kterým se obézní potýká. Poskytuje ucelený pohled na obezitu jako takovou, popisuje příčiny vzniku obezity, především její možná zdravotní rizika a komplikace. Popisuje mechanické, metabolické, ale i psychosociální komplikace obezity a jejich vliv na kvalitu života obézního. V neposlední řadě nabízí možnosti léčby obezity a určitá preventivní opatření.Bachelor thesis offers short overview of obesity and describes its negative effects on health of the individual. The aim of the thesis is to inform about health consequences of the disease and show possible difficulties in rehabilitation which obese faces. It provides complete overview of obesity and its causes, especially its possible health risks and complications. It describes the mechanical, metabolic and psychosocial complications of obesity and its impact on quality of life of obese individuals. Finally, it offers possible treatments of obesity and preventive measures.
