Cílem této práce je formou kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit, zda by občané byli ochotni pomáhat seniorům ve svém okolí, jakou formou a za jakých podmínek, aby mohli prožít stáří co nejdéle ve svém přirozeném prostředí. Také co by bylo pro potencionální dobrovolníky motivací pomoci seniorům a naopak, co by pro ně mohlo být bariérou. Práce zahrnuje jak teoretickou, tak výzkumnou část. V teoretické části popisuji obecné charakteristiky dobrovolnictví, jeho druhy a formy. Věnuji se postavení dobrovolnictví ve světě i v České republice. Také se zabývám specifiky dobrovolnictví v sociálních službách a při práci se seniory. Ve výzkumné části představuji konkrétní metody, které jsem použila při realizaci výzkumu a po analýze získaných dat zveřejňuji výsledky.The aim of the thesis is to find out, how citizens would be willing to help seniors in their neighborhood for spending the old age in their natural environment as long as possible. The qualitative research is used for finding possible forms and conditions. The thesis tries to find what would be the motivation for potential volunteers to help seniors and also what would be a barrier for them. The work includes theoretical and research part. The theoretical part describes the general characteristics of the volunteering such as its types and forms. The work concerns to the status of volunteering in the world and also in the Czech Republic and focuses on the specifics of volunteering in social services and in work with the seniors. In the research part are presented used methods which helped implementation of the research. The final results of analyses are also provided in the end.
