Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat souvislost mezi styly citové vazby a partnerskou spokojeností. Partnerská spokojenost podle teorie citové vazby závisí na míře, v jaké si partneři naplňují potřeby blízkosti toho druhého a v jaké plní funkci bezpečné základny a bezpečného přístavu. Respondenti, kteří museli být ve věku alespoň 18 let a v partnerském vztahu, byli získáni přes internetové rozhraní. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo 214 respondentů ve věku od 18 do 64 let, 15% mužů a 85% žen. Respondentům byly administrovány škála Experiences in Close Relationships pro zjištění 2 ortogonálních dimenzí citové vazby a škála Couple Satisfaction Index pro zhodnocení partnerské spokojenosti. Bylo zjištěno, že jistý styl citové vazby je v porovnání s nejistým stylem vazby spojen s vyšší spokojeností ve vztahu. Výsledky dále ukázaly vztah mezi vyhýbavým stylem vazby a nižším stupněm partnerské spokojenosti. Výsledky neukázaly na souvislost mezi partnerskou spokojeností a pohlavím, trváním vztahu nebo rodinným statusem.The aim of this thesis is to examine the relation between attachment styles and relationship satisfaction. According to attachment theory, relationship satisfaction depends on the extent to which participants' partners effectively meet their needs for proximity and offer a safe haven and secure base. Respondents had to be at least 18 years old and currently in a romantic relationship to participate and were recruited via online questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 214 respondents ranging from the age of 18 to 64, out of which 15% were men and 85% women. Experiences in Close Relationships scale used for assessment of two orthogonally oriented attachment dimensions and Couple satisfaction index scale used for assessment of couple satisfaction were administered to the respondents. The results indicate that the secure attachment style is related to higher levels of relationship satisfaction than insecure attachment style. There was also a relation between avoidant attachment and lower level of relationship satisfaction. The results did not suggest any link between relationship satisfaction and gender, relationship duration or marital status.
