Práce se zabývá sestavením kompetenčního modelu tlumočníka na English campech Křesťanské akademie mladých. V teoretické části představuje pojmy kompetence a kompetenční model a možné přístupy k jeho tvorbě. Navrhuje také možná dělení kompetencí do kategorií. Dále se zabývá pojmem kompetence v kontextu tlumočení. Snaží se vybrat relevantní literaturu, která se zabývá tlumočnickými kompetencemi a ukázat, jaké kompetence jsou v ní považovány zá zásadní pro úspěšné tlumočení. Praktická část pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s devíti respondenty rozdělenými do tří respondenčních skupin: organizátoři, tlumočníci a účastníci, navrhuje nejprve tři přeběžné kompetenční modely a po té finální kompetenční model tlumočníka na English campu. Závěrečná část srovnává kompetence zařazené do kompetenčního modelu s kompetencemi diskutovanými v tlumočnické literatuře.This thesis deals with designing a competency model of an interpreter at English camps held by Křesťanská akademie mladých. In its theoretical part it introduces the terms competence and competency model and different approaches that to its design that can be taken. It also suggests different ways to cathegorize competences. It also deals with the concept of competence in the context of interpreting. It attempts to choose relevant authors who deal with interpreter's competences and to present the competences they consider vital for successful interpreting. The practical part of the thesis tries to design a competency model. It uses the method of semi-structured interview nine respondents devided into three cathegories: organizers, interpreters and attendants. It first designs three draft competency models and than a final competency model of the interpreter at English camps. Its final part discusses the differences between the competences of the newly built competency model and the competences presented in interpreting theory literature
