Jeden z porovnávaných překladů je zhotoven profesionály pro oficiální dabing a druhý vytvořili amatéři pro neoficiální titulky. Práce se obzvláště zaměřuje na schopnost překladatelů převést do cílového jazyka humor a kulturně specifické odkazy. Teoretická část vysvětluje problematiku humoru, kulturně specifických odkazů a jejich překladu, následná praktická část obsahuje popis seriálu a analýzu, která srovnává a hodnotí profesionální a amatérský překlad.. -- Abstrakt: This bachelor's thesis compares two Czech translations of the American television show Community. One of the compared translations is for the official dubbing made by professionals, while the other is for unofficial subtitles made by amateurs. The main focus will be on the translators' capacity to transfer humor and culture-specific references to the target language. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the issue of humor and culture-specific references and their translation, whereas the following practical part contains a description of the television show and the analysis that compares and evaluates professional and amateur translations.
