Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl shrnout dosavadní poznatky o elektrostimulaci denervovaných svalů, zejména její vhodnost při použití v terapii po poškození periferních nervů nebo naopak její možné negativní účinky. V teoretické části je objasněna nejen etiologie poškození periferních nervů, ale také jejich degenerace a regenerace, elektrodiagnostika a historie elektrostimulace. V diskuzi jsou porovnávány názory autorů na danou problematiku.This thesis aims to summarize the current knowledge of electrostimulation of denervated muscles, especially its suitability for use in the treatment of peripheral nerve damage or not its possible negative effects. In the theoretical part I explain not only the etiology of peripheral nerve injury, but also their degeneration and regeneration, electrodiagnostics and history of electrostimulation. In the discussion I compared the views of the authors on this issue.
