(151 365 znaků) : il., tab. -- Ved. práce Jan Šmahaj. -- Oponent Lucie Viktorová. -- Abstrakt: Diplomová práce představuje Teorii sociální dominance a přináší českou verzi výzkumného nástroje "Škála sociálně dominantní orientace" (Social dominance Orientation Scale, SDO-Scale). V teoretické části práce jsou shrnuty výsledky dosavadních výzkumů z oblasti sociální psychologie a vysvětleny klíčové postuláty uvedené teorie. Podrobně je popsán související konstrukt proměnné "Sociálně dominantní orientace" (SDO), včetně nástroje na její měření "Škála sociálně dominantní orientace" (SDO-Scale). Jádrem práce je ověření vybraných psychometrických vlastností české verze SDO-Scale a jejich srovnání s vlastnostmi originální verze. Zkoumanou populaci představovala množina 205 osob, které vyplnily on-line formulář, jehož obsahem byla česká verze SDO-Scale a vybrané sociodemografické údaje. Reliabilita metody byla ověřena výpočtem hodnoty ukazatele vnitřní konzistence testu Cronbachova . Hypotézy pro orientační ověření validity byly formulovány na základě postulátů Teorie sociální dominance o rozdílech v míře sociálně dominantní orientace v definovaných sociálních skupinách. Zjištěné výsledky jsou konzistentní s výsledky původních zahraničních výzkumů. Českou verzi SDO6-Scale lze mít za dostatečně reliabilní, validní a vhodnou pro další výzkum na poli Teorie sociální dominance. Určitá omezení pro její použití lze spatřovat v nereprezentativnosti vzorku, na kterém byl výzkum proveden.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis presents the Social Dominance Theory and Czech adaptation of its crucial method "Social Dominance Orientation Scale" (SDO-Scale). The theoretical part of the thesis brings an overview of previous research findings in a field of social psychology, as a base for the Social Dominance Theory postulates. The author explains the key hypothesis of the Social Dominance Theory, and describes a construct of the "Social Dominance Orientation" (SDO) variable and the related research tool "Social Dominance Orientation Scale" (SDO-Scale). The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate psychometric attributes of the Czech version of the SDO-Scale and to compare it with its original version. Research was made on a group of 205 volunteers, who filled in a web-based form containing the SDO-Scale and several sociodemographic data items. The test reliability was measured by Cronbach as an internal consistency of the method. Validity was measured by statistical testing of several Social Dominance Theory hypotheses. The final findings are in agreement with the original foreign findings. The Czech version of the SDO-Scale is reliable, valid and suitable for research use in the field of Social Dominance Theory. Limitations of the method are discussed.
