Diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Náplní teoretické části, rozčleněné do tří kapitol, je jak problematika alternativní a augmentativní komunikace, tak poruchy autistického spektra. Zaměřujeme se na vymezení alternativní a augmentativní komunikace a objasnění několika jejich komunikačních systémů. Teoretická část se rovněž věnuje poruchám autistického spektra a jejich přiblížení. V praktické části se zabýváme dvěma hlavními cíli, jednak popisem obrazu jednotlivých dětí s poruchou autistického spektra a způsobu jejich komunikace, jednak plošným šetřením nejpoužívanějšího systému alternativní a augmentativní komunikace u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra.This thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part has tree parts and it analyses literary sources that discuss the general concept of alternative and augmentative communication as well as the concept of the autism spectrum disorder. The thesis is focused on the definition and specification of the autism spectrum disorder and elucidation of several communication systems. Furthermore the theoretical part deals with the clasification of the autism spectrum disorder. The practical part has two main goals. Firstly: the description of individual children with the autism spectrum disorder and the description of their style of communication. Secondly: the global research of the most common system of the alternative and augmentative communication which is applied to autistic children.
