Následuje biografie autora, která může pomoci pochopit jeho vnímání světa. V další části je již popsáno Dürrenmattovo chápání světa jako labyrintu, zahrnuty jsou interpretace děl Manželství pana Mississippiho, Návštěva staré dámy a Fyzikové. Zmíněna je také řeč Friedricha Dürrenmatta, kterou adresoval tehdejšímu prezidentu Václavu Havlovi.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis deals with the labyrinth of human existence of Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The aim is to clarify Dürrenmatt's perception of the world as a labyrinth using interpretations of specific works. In the first part of the thesis the variable meaning of the labyrinth as a symbol in history is summarized. The following biography of the author helps to understand his particular view of the world. Further, the Dürrenmatt's perception of the world as a labyrinth is already described, interpretations of works such as The Marriage of Mr. Mississippi, The Visit and The Physicists are included. Dürrenmatt's famous speech towards the then president Vaclav Havel is also mentioned.
