Práce "Liturgie a spiritualita Komunity Sant´Egidio" podává obraz laického křesťanského hnutí založeného v Římě v roce 1968 po Druhém vatikánském koncilu studentem lycea Andreou Riccardim. V současnosti Komunita působí v sedmdesáti zemích světa a její cestou je modlitba, služba pro chudé a práce pro mír, jak to na návštěvě Komunity v červnu 2014 výstižně zdůraznil papež František třemi slovy, která popisují spiritualitu Komunity: "Preghiera, Poveri e Pace", což znamená modlitba, chudí a mír. Práce se věnuje hlavně liturgické praxi Komunity. Jsou to zvláště modlitby, které Komunita chápe, jako projev služby na místech kde působí. Je to svým způsobem služba nejen duchovní, ale i občanská a sociální, která je vnímána jako "služba celému světu." Modlitby Komunity Sant´Egidio zahrnují modlitby za chudé, za církev a za mír. Služba Komunity Sant´Egidio se dotýká mnohých oblastí: pomoc lidem bez domova, přistěhovalcům z chudých zemí, starým lidem, nemocným lidem, je to projekt DREAM pro léčení AIDS v některých zemích Afriky, pomoc chudým dětem v rámci adopcí na dálku a registrací do matrik, a v neposlední řádě práce pro mír a dialog. V současné době i pomoc pronásledovaným křesťanům a pokračující úsilí za celkové zrušení trestu smrti.The bachelor thesis of "Liturgy and Spirituality of the Community of Sant´Egidio" gives a picture of laics, Christian movement founded in Rome in 1968 by a student of the lyceum, whose name is Andrea Riccardi. It happened after the Second Vatican Council. Nowadays the Community works in seventy countries in the world and its way contains of the prayer, the service for the poor and the work for peace, as it was specified by the pope Francis at the visit of the Community in July of 2014, when he used three words to cover the spirituality of the Community which were "Preghiera, Poveri e Pace". That means the Prayer, the Poor and the Peace. The thesis is devoted especially to the liturgical practice of the Community of Sant' Egidio, which are mostly the prayers. The prayers are to be understood as a service of the Community for the city where the community takes place. In a way, it is not only the spiritual service, but also civic and social, and it is perceived as "the service for the whole world". The prayers of the Community cover the prayers for the poor, for the Church and for the peace. The service of the Community concerns lots of spheres. It is the help for the homless people and immigrants from the poor countries, the help for the old and ill people. It is the project of DREAM to treat AIDS in some of African countries, in additional to that it is a project to register poor children in Africa to prevent their abuses and the distance-adoption project as well. And finally there are efforts for peace keeping and for dialogue. Nowadays, the service of the Community concerns the help for the persecuted Christians and continuously efforts for the death penaulty abolishment.
