Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat vliv tradiční španělské romance na moderní poesii 20.století. Konkrétně se jedná o dílo Cikánské romance od Federica Garcíi Lorcy. V jednotlivých kapitolách první části práce jsou popsány stupně vývoje tohoto žánru od 17. do 20.století a následně vliv tohoto žánru na moderní poesii. Druhá polovina práce se soustředí zejména na podrobnou analýzu díla Cikánské Romance. Analýza je prováděna z hlediska stylu, formy, jazyka a tématiky básnické sbírky. V každé z kapitol analýzy je pak uvedeno srovnání zjištěných znaků s tradiční podobou romance.The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the influence of the Spanish romance on the modern poetry of the 20th century. The central object of study is the book Romancero gitano from Federico García Lorca. In the particular chapters of the first part of the thesis there are the particular phases of the evolution of the romance described with the focus on the period from 17th to 20th century with its influence on the modern poetry. The second part of the thesis is focused on the detailed analysis of Romancero gitano. The analysis is made on the level of style, form, language and topics of the poetry collection. In all the chapters there is also mentioned the comparison of the traditional romance and the features found.
