Hlavní cílem této práce bylo popsat instituty pracovní doby a dob odpočinku v současné právní úpravě. Snažila jsem se nastínit čtenáři právní úpravu pracovní doby a dob odpočinku ve spojení s vlivem odborové organizace a kolektivního vyjednávání. Poukazují též na změny nastalé s ohledem na novelizaci pracovního práva v roce 2012 a rovněž na implementaci směrnic Evropské unie. Dále pojednávám současně o moderních trendech úpravy pracovní doby a dob odpočinku do budoucna. V závěru práce je řazena stručná komparace institutu s pracovní dobou a dob odpočinku v Itálii, Rakousku a Belgii. Výsledkem mé práce by měla být analýza současné právní úpravy pracovní doby a dob odpočinku a jejích vliv na život zaměstnance.The main purpose of this thesis is describes the institutes working time and rest periods in the present legislation. I have attempted to introduce the reader with an issue of working time and rest periods tried in an effort to point out the shortcomings of existing legislation and outline the considerations about the organization of legal aspects. It refers also to the changes occurring with regard to the amendment of the labor law in 2012 and also to implement the directives of the European Union. Also deals with modern trends of working time and rest periods in the future. The conclusion is devoted a brief comparison of the institute with working time and rest periods of Italy, Austria a Belgium. The result of my thesis should be an analysis of current legislation of working hours and rest periods, its impact on practice life.
