Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit pomocí anketního šetření informovanost veřejnosti o sociálních službách pro seniory v regionu Prostějov. V první části jsou charakterizovány pojmy senior, stárnutí a stáří. Druhá část se zaměřuje na sociální služby pro seniory jejich členění na pobytové, ambulantní a terénní a na legislativu. Třetí část popisuje demografii prostějovského regionu, komunitní plánování a zaměřuje se na popis činnosti jednotlivých služeb v regionu Prostějov. V poslední části jsou výsledky anketního šetření a navrženy možnosti řešení.The aim of the thesis is to find out through the public inquiry public awareness of social services for seniors in the region of Prostejov. In the first part they are characterized by the terms senior, aging and old age. The second part focuses on social services for the elderly their division into residential, outpatient and outreach and legislation. The third part describes the demographics of the region Prostejov, community planning and focuses on the description of the individual services in the region Prostejov. The last part of the results of inquiry and suggested possible solutions.
