Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat subjektivní životní spokojenost rodičů hyperaktivních dětí a popsat vnímanou souvislost jejich životní spokojenosti se zvládáním rodičovské role. Teoretická část práce je věnována krátkému historickému přehledu včetně terminologického rozlišení dříve souhrnnému pojmu LMD. Je charakterizován syndrom ADHD, jeho etiologie, příznaky, diagnostika a léčba. Dále je pozornost věnovaná rodinnému zázemí a životní spokojenosti. Ve výzkumné části jsou popsány výsledky výzkumu zjištěné polostrukturovaným rozhovorem a Dotazníkem životní spokojenosti. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 13 rodin, z toho 13 matek a 7 otců. Celková životní spokojenost rodičů hyperaktivních dětí odpovídá stanovené normě a nachází se ve spodní části průměrných hodnot.The goal of this diploma thesis is to monitor subjective life satisfaction of parents, who have hyperactive child and to describe perceived context of their life satisfaction with handling of their parental role. The teoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to short historical overview, including the terminological differentiation of the earlier general term LMD. ADHD syndrome is defined, as well as its etiology, symptoms, diagnostics and treatment. Attention is also paid to family background and life satisfaction. The research chapter of the thesis desribes results of the research that are based on semi-structured interview and on the Questionnaire of the life satisfaction. The research sample included 13 families, of which there were 13 mothers and 7 fathers. The total life satisfaction of parents, who have hyperactive child corresponds with determined norm and is found in lower part of average values.
