Obsahem této diplomové práce je bližší seznámení se s problematikou vývoje poezie, která se dostává na pomezí vizuálního a verbálního výrazu. Tento typ poezie bude zohledněn v kontextu českého surrealismu a bude poukázáno na styčné body mezi surrealismem a vizuálními možnostmi poezie reprezentované dílem Jindřicha Štyrského a Jindřicha Heislera. Tato práce se analytickou metodou věnuje možnosti spojení obou médií v nově kombinovaném výrazovém plánu, kterým se u J. Štyrského stává zejména obrazová báseň; a u J. Heislera tato tendence vyvrcholí vznikem tzv. básně-objektu. Důležitým faktorem je nalezení podobností ve vývoji děl obou autorů a nalezení analogie jejich tvůrčích metod. Další analýzy poukazují na aktualizaci výrazových možností poezie, o kterou se oba autoři pokoušeli. Chronologické řazení analýz zachycuje vývoj a rozmělňování literárních konvencí, ale i posuny kategorií v oblasti literární komunikace (aktualizace knižního artefaktu, přehodnocení vizuální kompozice textu, nové pojetí básníka). Uvedený rozbor poukazuje na situaci obou autorů ve 20.- 40. letech, kdy se česká avantgarda pokoušela najít nové principy imaginace, ale i nové prostředky výrazu. V této práci poukážeme nejen na výrazové prostředky poezie, ale okrajově se dotkneme působení dalších faktorů, jakým je například vliv knihy jako artefaktu na celkové vyznění textu. Tato práce by měla být specifickým pohledem na okrajovou část literatury pracující s vizualitou textu, ale i hmotnou stránkou knihy.Aim of this thesis is closer look on the problem of evolution of poetry, which is on the border of visual and verbal expression. This type of poetry will be related to the context of the Czech surrealism and points in common will be highlighted between the surrealism and visual capabilities of poetry represented by the works of Jindřich Štyrský and Jindřich Heisler. Using the analytical method, this thesis presents the possibilities of connection of both modes in new combined expression design, which is called "visual poem" in the work of J. Štyrský and in J. Heisler's work this purpose culminates by creation so-called poem-object. Important condition is the finding similarities of the development in the pieces of work of both authors and finding analogy of their creative methods. Further analysis points actualization of expression abilities of poetry, which both authors intended. Chronological order of analysis captures the development and disintegration of literature conventions but even displacement of categories in the area of literature communication (up-to-dateness of literature artifact, reconsideration of text visual composition, new conception of poet). Given study points out the situation of authors from the 20's to the 40's, when Czech avant-garde tried to find new principles of imagination and new meanings of expression. This thesis shows not only expression means of poetry, but even partial influence of other agents, for example influence of book as an artifact on the whole meaning of the text. This thesis should arrange peculiar look on the border part of the literature dealing with the visual text and material essence of the book.
