Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou spirituálních potřeb seniorů v sociálním zařízení. Konkrétně jde o domovy pro seniory. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu geriatrie, gerontologie, penzionování a poslání domova pro seniory. Dále je zde popsána teorie spirituality a pastorační péče.V praktické části je použita metoda kvantitativního výzkumného šetření. Tento úsek zahrnuje informace, které byly získány prostřednictvím odevzdaných dotazníků od ošetřujícího personálu. Dotazníky jsou prezentovány tabulkami a grafy. Výzkumné šetření je doplněno o rozhovor se třemi obyvatelkami domova pro seniory. Rozhovory byly zjišťovány názory na nejen somatickou, ale i spirituální péči ošetřujícího personálu. Výsledky výzkumného šetření byly shrnuty v diskuzi a v závěru práce.The thesis focuses on spiritual needs of seniors in sanitary facility, especially in rest homes. This thesis is divided on theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part aims at defining conception of geriatrics, gerontology, superannuation and mission of a rest home as well as describing theory of spirituality and pastoral care. The method of quantitative research assessment is used in practical part of the thesis. There is contained information that was received through surveys fulfilled from attending personnel. Surveys are presented in tables and charts. Research assessment included interviews with three occupiers of the rest home. Opinions of somatic as well as spiritual care of attending personnel were reached and results are involved in discussion and the end of the thesis
