V roce 2004 a 2005 jsem se zúčastnil dvou misí v Iráku. V té době jsem již studoval UP v Olomouci. Často jsem přicházel do styku s místním obyvatelstvem i úředníky. Islámský svět má svoje specifika, proto jsem se rozhodl ve své diplomové práci alespoň částečně přiblížit tento, pro spoustu lidí neznámy a rádoby exotický svět. V kapitole první jsem se snažil objasnit vznik a podstatu islámu v jeho obecném pojetí. V následující druhé kapitole se zmiňuji o vlivu islámu na společnost. A v poslední třetí kapitole, jsem nejprve uvedl obecně známa fakta o geografii Iráku a následně pak vyjádřil svůj pohled na situaci a vývoj v Iráku.In the years 2004 and 2005 I took part in two missions in Iraq. At this time I was studying at the University Palackeho in Olomouc. I was frequently meeting local inhabitants and officers during the above mentioned missions in Iraq. Islamic world has its specificity. Therefore, I decided at this graduation theses at least partly to show this, for many people, still unknown Islamic world. This graduation theses concerns about phenomenon named ``Islam". In the chapter one I tried to clarify the origin and fundamental of Islam at its general conception. In the chapter two I write about Islamic influence on the society. In the last chapter I first stated general known facts about geography of Iraq and consequently I described the situation and progress in Iraq.
