Tato práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jaké jsou osobnostní vlastnosti sociálních pracovníků, kteří pracují s lidmi bez domova a jaké jsou možnosti jejich osobnostního rozvoje. Dotazník Big Five Inventory, konkrétně BFI-2-S, byl vytvořen online a žádost o vyplnění s odkazem na dotazník byla odeslána všem pracovníkům v Pardubickém kraji, kteří s cílovou skupinou pracují. Kontakty byly dohledány v Registru poskytovatelů sociálních služeb MPSV a dále na dostupných internetových stránkách pracovišť. Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice bezdomovectví, osobnostním předpokladům sociálního pracovníka a možnostem jeho rozvoje. V první kapitole je vymezen pojem bezdomovectví, jsou rozebrány jeho příčiny a typologie. Kapitola se věnuje hlavně problémům lidí bez domova a možnostem pomoci. Druhá kapitola se věnuje osobnostním předpokladům sociálního pracovníka. Jsou zde vymezeny pojmy sociální pracovník, osobnost, je představen pětifaktorový model osobnosti a je zde rozebráno, jaký by měl sociální pracovník podle literatury být. V poslední kapitole teoretické části jsou popsány možnosti rozvoje sociálního pracovníka.This thesis aims to find out what are the personality characteristics of social workers who work with homeless people and what are the possibilities for their personal development. The Big Five Inventory questionnaire, specifically the BFI-2-S, was created online and a request for completion with a link to the questionnaire was sent to all workers in the Pardubice Region who work with the target group. The contacts were traced in the Register of Social Service Providers of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and on the available websites of the workplaces. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the issue of homelessness, personal prerequisites of a social worker and possibilities of its development. The first chapter defines the concept of homelessness, discusses its causes and typology. The chapter is mainly devoted to the problems of homeless people and the possibilities of help. The second chapter is devoted to the personal prerequisites of a social worker. The terms social worker and personality are defined, Big five model is presented and the literature discusses what a social worker should be. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, the possibilities for the development of the social worker are described.
