Covid-19 je vírusové ochorenie spôsobené vírusom SARS-CoV-2, ktoré sa prejavuje individuálne, môže mať priebeh asymptomatický, mierny, ťažký alebo kritický. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je priblížiť čitateľovi anatómiu a fyziológiu respiračného traktu, ako najčastejšie postihnutú telovú sústavu v akútnom štádiu, predostrieť základné poznatky ako o samotnom víruse SARS-CoV-2, tak aj o ochorení Covid-19, ktoré spôsobuje. Okrem toho predstavuje problematiku syndrómu akútnej dychovej tiesne, jeho patofyziológiu, liečbu a spojenie s ochorením Covid-19. Vo svojej druhej časti práca upriamuje pozornosť na možnosti rehabilitačnej liečby v akútnom štádiu tohto ochorenia u pacientov hospitalizovaných na jednotkách intenzívnej starostlivosti. Zameriava sa na využitie techník respiračnej fyzioterapie, spomína však aj rehabilitačné ošetrovateľstvo v podobe polohovania. Okrem toho čitateľovi predstavuje problematiku "intensive care unit acquired weakness" a možnosti jej prevencie a na záver uvádza možnosť telerehabilitácie u pacientov s ochorením Covid-19 v domácom prostredí.Covid-19 is an illness caused by virus SARS-CoV-2, with individual manifestation. A course of this illness can be asymptomatic, or it can vary between mild, severe, or critical. In its first part, the thesis focuses on general information about the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system as usually the most impaired one in the acute phase of Covid-19. It presents basic knowledge about the virus and how it can enter the human body as well as the main symptoms it causes. Besides that, the thesis talks about what is acute respiratory distress syndrome, possible treatment options, and how it is connected to Covid-19. In its second part, the thesis focuses on rehabilitation options in the acute phase of Covid-19 among patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit. It presents the use of respiratory physiotherapy techniques and the positioning of the patient. In addition, it shows the reader the danger that poses intensive care unit acquired weakness and some means of how to prevent it. In the end, it mentions the possibility of telerehabilitation within patients with Covid-19 in the domestic quarantine.
