Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit studijní materiál, který bude sloužit jako opora pro výuku severské angličtiny ve fonetickém semináři Výslovnostní varianty angličtiny (AF10)na Katedře anglistiky a amerikanistiky Univerzity Palackého. Práce se stručně zabývá historií, současností a budoucností tohoto akcentu a uvádí specifické rysy výslovnosti na severu Anglie společně s komentářem k vytvořenému studijnímu materiálu a zvukovým nahrávkám.The aim of the thesis is to create study material on Northern English which will be used in the seminar Varieties of English pronunciation (AF10) at the Department of English and American studies at the Palacký University. The thesis briefly explores the history, present and future of the accent and presents specific features of the pronunciation of Northern English together with the commentary on the suggested study material and audio recordings.
