Práce vychází z realizace vlastního terénního výzkumu zaměřeného na život na vesnici v letech 1948-1989. Pomocí metody orální historie sleduji problematiku venkova v daném období z pohledu lidí, které nelze přiřadit ani na jednu stranu polarizované posttotalitní české společnosti a jejichž názory na minulost je třeba konfrontovat s mainstreamovým výkladem moderních dějin. Jak totiž bylo zjištěno, tento výklad na určité úrovni společnosti vůbec neplatí. Charakter práce je ovlivněn výběrem respondentů, který dokládá jeden z hlavních symptomů proměny venkova, a sice celkové snížení počtu obyvatel pracujících v zemědělství a jejich uplatnění v průmyslovém sektoru. Autorka chce touto prací přispět k rozšíření možnosti poznání dané doby a tím zabránit černobílému interpretování minulosti.This work is based on realization of the author's own field research aimed at life in the village in the years 1948-1989. By the method of oral history, I monitor questions of the country in this period from the point of view of people who cannot be classified into either side of polarized post-totalit Czech society and whose opinions on the past should be confronted with mainstream interpretation of modern history. As discovered, this interpretation does not apply at all to a certain part of the society. The nature of the work is influenced by the choice of respondents which documents one of the main symptoms of transformation of the country ? overall reduction of the number of inhabitants working in agriculture and their use in industry. The author wants this work to contribute to extension of the possibilities of understanding of this period and thus avoid black and white interpretation of the past.
