Diplomová práce pojednává především o spravedlnosti. Práce hledá význam tohoto pojmu a hledá odpověď na otázku "Co je to spravedlnost?". Poskytuje přehled rozmanitých významů tohoto pojmu, jak ho chápali myslitelé jako Platon, Aristoteles, T. Hobbes, J.J. Rousseau. V samostatných kapitolách je vysvětleno, jak je pojmu spravedlnosti rozuměno v "moderní době" na základě teorií H.L.A. Harta, J. Rawlse či F.A. Hayeka. Zvláštní pozornost a další část práce je poté věnována významu sociální spravedlnosti. Závěrečná část se zabývá institutem spravedlivého procesu, samotnému významu tohoto pojmu, a to zejména ve světle vztahu pojmu jako takového a dříve nastíněných poznatků ohledně teorie spravedlnosti.The thesis deals primarily with justice. The work searches the meaning of justice and looks for the answer to the question "What is justice?" It provides overview of various meanings of this term, as it was understood by thinkers like Plato, Aristotle, T. Hobbes, J. J. Rousseau. It is then explained in individual chapters, how the concept of justice is understood in the "modern era", based on theories of H.L.A. Hart, J. Rawls and F.A. Hayek. Special attention and following part of the thesis is paid to the importance of social justice. The final section deals with the Institute of fair trial, the underlying meaning of the term, especially in light of the relationship of the term as such and the previously outlined findings on the theory of justice.
