Ve své diplomové práci se budu zabývat problematikou Organizace Červeného kříže a Červeného půlměsíce. Úvod práce bude pojednávat o historii těchto dvou organizací, která se datuje rokem 1863 a sleduje vývoj až po současnost. Další část práce bude věnována jejich struktuře, činností a přínosem pro současnost. Na závěr práce zhodnotím aktivity organizace Červeného kříže a Červeného půlměsíce v České republice a v zahraničí za vybrané období.In my diploma thesis, I address the issue of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Introduction is devoted to the history of these two organisations, which starts in 1863 and continues until today. Next part is focused on the analysis of the structure of the organisation and implementation of activities, in which it is employed. Last part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the operations of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent as well as to the Czech Red cross in the selected years 2005 - 2007 and their contribution to the current situation.
