Tato bakalářská práce objasňuje princip kraniosakrální terapie uvedením do funkční podstaty kraniosakrálního systému a s ním provázané role kraniosakralního pohybu. Nabízí náhled do historického kontextu terapie spolu s obeznámením se základním diagnostickým a terapeutickým nástrojem kraniosakrálního terapeuta - s palpací. Druhá část práce sumarizuje možnosti využití kraniosakrální terapie v klinické praxi terapeuta u dospělých pacientů, prostřednictvím přehledu kvalitativních studií čerpaných z šesti elektronických databází. Součástí přehledu je 19 validních studií, které zahrnují 13 studií terapeutického ovlivnění chronických bolestivých stavů, 4 studie z oblasti neurologických poruch, 1 studii zaměřenou na léčbu průduškového astmatu a závěrečnou studii o uplatnění terapie v preventivní péči. Přehled studií dokládá účinnost kraniosakrální terapie u všech uvedených klinických stavů pacientů dospělého věku.This bachelor's thesis clarifies the craniosacral therapy principle by introducing the craniosacral system's functional nature and its related role in the craniosacral movement. The thesis offers an insight to the historical context of the therapy, acquainting the craniosacral therapist's primary diagnostic and therapeutic tool - palpation. The second part of the thesis summarises the overview of the use of craniosacral therapy in therapist's clinical practice among adults, through available qualitative studies derived from six electronic databases. The content of the review involves 19 valid studies, including 13 studies related to the therapeutic influence of chronic pain conditions, 4 studies from the neurological disorders field, 1 study focused on the treatment of bronchial asthma and final research on the application of therapy in preventive care. The propounded studies demonstrate the effecti-veness of craniosacral therapy in all the mentioned clinical conditions of adult patients.
