Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje veškeré dostupné poznatky o rodu Drilus Olivier, 1790 z Kypru. Z tohoto regionu bylo doposud udáváno šest druhů Drilus humeralis Pic, 1931, Drilus posticus Schaufuss, 1867, Drilus rectus Schaufuss, 1867, Drilus rufipes (Baudi di Selve, 1871), Drilus testaceipes Pic, 1933 a Drilus truquii (Baudi di Selve, 1871). Na základě studia veškerého dostupného materiálu z hlavních evropských muzeí a několika soukromých sbírek jsem zhodnotila morfologickou charakteristiku jednotlivých druhů. U D. rectus a D. rufipes jsem poprvé provedla deskripci samic, a u D. rufipes jsem popsala larvy tohoto druhu, které ještě také nebyly nikdy popsány. Druh D. testaceipes je pouze barevnou odchylkou D. rectus a proto zde navrhuji tyto druhy synonymizovat. Druh D. truquii navrhuji jako synonymum druhu D. rufipes, jelikož se jedná pouze o velikostně odlišné jedince populací jednoho druhu. Výskyt druhu D. posticus na Kypru jsem nepotvrdila. D. humeralis je znám pouze na základě typového exempláře a tento druh je tedy endemický pro oblast Kypru. U všech druhů jsem provedla redeskripce a uvedla diferenciální diagnózy. Kromě toho jsem vyobrazila habity a důležité morfologické znaky jednotlivých druhů a vytvořila mapu distribuce druhů na zkoumaném území. V práci jsem dále zpracovala určovací klíč samců rodu Drilus z Kypru.In this bachelor thesis I summarize all available information on the genus Drilus Olivier, 1970 from Cyprus. Up to now, six species were recognized in this region - Drilus humeralis Pic, 1931, Drilus posticus Schaufuss, 1867, Drilus rectus Schaufuss, 1867, Drilus rufipes (Baudi di Selve, 1871), Drilus testaceipes Pic, 1933 a Drilus truquii (Baudi di Selve, 1871). I examined the morfological characters of all species based on the material available from the main European museums and several private collections. For the first time, I described the females of D. rectus and D. rufipes, and additionally, I described immature stages of D. rufipes. Drilus testaceipes is most probably only a differently colored form of D. rectus, therefore I propose to synonymize these species. Furthermore, I propose D. truquii as a synonym of D. rufipes, as they share the same morphological characters. I have not been able to confirm the occurrence of D. posticus in Cyprus. Drilus humeralis is known only from the type specimen and this species is therefore endemic to Cyprus. I provided the redescriptions and differential diagnoses for all species and figured the general appearances and important morphological features, and created the map of distribution of the Drilus species in Cyprus. An identification key to males of Drilus species in Cyprus is also given.
