Diplomová práce se zabývá screeningem sluchu jakožto prvním prostředkem, který by měl odhalit sluchové postižení u novorozenců. V teoretické části je definován sluch, jeho diagnostika, pojem screening, legislativní ukotvení screeningu sluchu, dále si práce všímá rodiny sluchově postiženého dítěte a vlivu sluchového postižení na rozvoj dítěte. Praktická část obsahuje dva výzkumy. Důraz je kladen zvláště na výzkum první, v němž jsme oslovili rodiče a jejich prostřednictvím jsme zjistili aktuální podobu screeningu sluchu u nás, kterou jsme následně porovnali s metodickým pokynem.The main objective of this thesis is hearing screening as the first mean to reveal hearing disabilities in newborn babies. In the theoretical part hearing and its diagnostics have been definied, the term screening and the legislative anchoring of hearing screening have been definied as well. Furthermore, the thesis concentrates on the family of a hearing disabled child and pays attention to the development of a disabled child. The practical part includes two researches. Great emphasis is put on the first part especially, in which we talked to parents and with their help we tried to find out more about the nowadays hearing screening in our country. Later on it has been compared to methodic instructions.
