Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnout základní koncepty jednofaktorové analýzy kovariance a aplikovat ji v analýze dat hořců k modelování závislosti šířky prostředních listů na počtu květů nebo počtu listů. Teoretická část obsahuje konstrukci modelu analýzy kovariance, testování předpokladů a hypotézy o shodě skupinových středních hodnot. V praktické části je představená teorie využita k analýze dat popisující vlastnosti různých druhů hořců.The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarise the elementary concepts of one-factor analysis of covariance and apply them in analysis of the gentian data in order to model the dependency of the middle leaves width on the number of blossoms or the number of leaves. The theoretical part contains the construction of the model of analysis of covariance, testing of assumptions and the hypothesis of homogenity of grouped means. The introduced theory is used in the analysis of data which describe the characteristics of the different gentian species.
