V této práci jsem se zaměřil na komparaci pravomocí obecní a státní policie. Především jsem se zaměřil na pravomoc použití zbraně. Detailně jsem rozebral právní úpravu, kterou jsem doplnil poznatky z judikatury. Značnou část této práce jsem prováděl v terénu, kdy jsem diskutoval s příslušníky obecní a státní policie a sepisoval jejich názory a poznatky z praxe. Cílem této práce bylo porovnat pravomoci příslušníku obecní policie a státní policie, a především použití zbraně těmito příslušníky. Cílem bylo také zjistit, zda příslušníci obecní policie nejsou limitováni zákonnou úpravou oproti státním policistům a zdali tato limitace může mít negativní následky pro ochranu veřejného pořádku.In this work, I focused on comparing the powers of municipal and state police, particularly their authority to use firearms. I thoroughly analyzed the legal regulations and supplemented them with insights from case law. A significant portion of this research was conducted in the field, where I engaged in discussions with members of both the municipal and state police, documenting their opinions and practical experiences. The goal of this thesis was to compare the powers granted to members of the municipal police with those of the state police, especially regarding the use of firearms. Another objective was to determine whether municipal police officers are limited by legal regulations compared to state police officers, and whether this limitation could negatively impact public order protection.
