Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postavením vybraných evropských států z pohledu jejich mezinárodního obchodu, a vlivem, jež má Evropská unie, které jsou vybrané státy členy, na tento jejich mezinárodní obchod. Postavení států a vliv Evropské unie je zkoumán prostřednictvím analýzy hodnot mezinárodního obchodu se zbožím v průběhu let, přičemž se práce zaměřuje na vybrané nejdůležitější oblasti obchodu, jako je obchod států na vnitřním společném trhu Evropské unie uskutečňovaném mezi členy Unie, obchod států s třetími nečlenskými státy Unie, obchod států s konkrétním partnerem a obchod států s vybranými druhy výrobků. Hodnoty obchodu jsou ve vybraných oblastech konfrontovány s hodnotami panujícími před přistoupením států do Evropské unie a s hodnotami obchodu v období členství států ve Středoevropské zóně volného obchodu. V rámci studia hodnot jsou také analyzovány některé konkrétní nástroje, jimiž Evropská unie ovlivňuje uvedené oblasti obchodu. Práce nejprve nastoluje teoretický základ, kdy se v první kapitole zabývá pojmem mezinárodní obchod a jeho jednotlivými součástmi. Následuje kapitola přibližující regionální integrační uskupení Středoevropská zóna volného obchodu a její činnost v oblasti liberalizace obchodu s průmyslovými a zemědělskými výrobky s tím, že jsou zde obsaženy i konkrétní hodnoty tohoto obchodu. Další kapitola komplexně rozebírá Evropskou unii, konkrétně její roli na poli mezinárodní obchodní směny, a to zejména v oblasti vnitřního trhu Unie a v oblasti společné obchodní politiky Unie. Na tu navazuje kapitola uvádějící několik konkrétních nástrojů, jež jsou Unií ve výše uvedených oblastech užívány. Poslední kapitola se pak zabývá konkrétní analýzou a hodnocením postavení států a vlivu Evropské unie za užití konkrétních hodnot obchodu, jak bylo uvedeno výše.This diploma thesis deals with the position of selected European countries in terms of their international trade, and the impact that the European Union has on their international trade, which the selected countries are members of. The position of the countries and the influence of the European Union is examined through an analysis of the values of international trade in goods over the years. The thesis specifically focuses on a selection of the most important areas of trade, such as the state trade in the European single market carried out between members of the Union, the state trade with third non-member states of the Union, the state trade with a particular partner, and the state trade with selected types of products. The values of trade in the selected areas are contrasted with the values prevailing before the accession of the countries to the European Union and with the values of trade during the period of membership of the countries in the Central European Free Trade Agreement. The study of values also analyses some of the specific instruments used by the European Union to influence these areas of trade. In the first chapter, the thesis establishes a theoretical basis by examining the concept of international trade and its various components. The following chapter introduces the regional integration grouping, the Central European Free Trade Agreement, and its work in liberalising trade in industrial and agricultural products, with specific values of this trade being included. The next chapter comprehensively discusses the European Union, specifically its role in the field of international trade, particularly in the area of the Union's internal market and the Union's common commercial policy. This is followed by a chapter setting out some of the specific instruments used by the Union in the above areas. The last chapter deals with a specific analysis and assessment of the state's position and the European Union's influence in the use of specific trade values.
